This book was created in 2011 at the San Francisco Art Institute.  It has woodblock relief printed portraits, and silkscreened hand-written text that weaves between the shadows in the faces.  Dream Space can be read as a French Door style book, or can be hung by its strings as a tent.  When hung, the two portraits face each other, and the text becomes a sort of conversation between them.  The book includes the hardware required to hang it from a ceiling.The paper is Rives Lightweight.  When closed, the book measures 18 1/4″ x 15 1/4″ x 3/4″.  Each magnified portrait measures  6′ 6 3/4″ when fully extended.  Dream Space has a limited edition of 5.  This work is not currently for sale.
