This artist book was created at Mills College in 2014.  The work speaks to the meditative and subconscious action involved in reading a codex book. It is composed of semi-transparent digital photographs, overprinted with colored ink on the letterpress.  The paper is natural white Mohawk Text Weight.  The hand-bound book has a German Case Binding, and has an edition of 3. The closed book measures 11 5/7″ x 7 5/8″ x 1/2″.  $225

Break is meant to be read with the binding facing the reader, so that the pages turn towards them.
