This artist book exists as a series of nesting boxes. Each box furthers the story of the artist witnessing her grandmother’s Alzheimer’s associated transformation.

The imagery was created using polymer plate and pressure printing techniques on a letterpress. The internal text was digitally printed. Each handcrafted box is covered in Japanese book cloth. And then I said… was created at Mills College in 2015.
